Responsibilities
Assists in conducting applied research projects concerning molluscan shellfish aquaculture. Research topics include monitoring of aqueous soils on commercial shellfish leases, assessing biofouling communities, determining effects of mechanical harvesting on water quality and soil properties, and evaluating soil types for alternative molluscan shellfish species, such as the sunray venus clam.
