Important information about water quality is available to the shellfish aquaculture industry and interested people. All data are archived and made available in “farmer-friendly” graphic format. Archived information can be used in comparing annual and seasonal differences in shellfish production as well as substantiating crop losses.

Data collected during 2002-2005 have undergone a quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC protocol) developed by UF faculty. Annual QA/QC logs for these years are provided. Graphed information included temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen concentration, oxygen saturation, turbidity, and wind.

Beginning in 2007, data correction was limited to proofing measured data for errors associated with equipment failure, bio-fouling, or other problems. Graphed information from 2007-2023 included temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen concentration, oxygen saturation, and turbidity. In 2023, Oyster FARMS Monitoring stations were added with graphed information for temperature and salinity only.
