Biofouling controls on floating oyster cages were assessed in four Gulf states (LA, MS, AL, FL) by employing two strategies – aerial drying (‘flipping’) of cages and biocide-free, antifouling coating on bags. Effects on oyster growth, survival, condition, and biofouling were documented.
